IRL+ Video Mixer
Every camera, one clean stream.
Composite your HDMI and USB cameras, a phone over SRT, the audio and your overlays into one clean feed for your encoder. It all runs on the box, driven from a web panel on your laptop or phone.
While we're in closed beta, signing in just verifies your Tester role in our Discord. We only read your display name and that role. Don't have the role yet? Request it in the Discord and someone will add you, then you get the install command and the docs.
Support comes from us, not BELABOX™. This is an independent project that runs alongside BELABOX, not affiliated with or endorsed by it. For any help, use our Discord. Installing it modifies your system, and the BELABOX project does not support modified systems. Use it at your own risk. BELABOX is a trademark of its respective owner.

Mix many cameras
HDMI and USB cameras in picture-in-picture, side by side or a grid, with live crop, rotate and borders.
Hardware accelerated
The RK3588's RGA and video decoder do the compositing, so it barely touches the CPU even with several feeds at once.
Bring in a phone
Pull in a phone or an SRT or RTMP feed as just another source in the mix.
Full audio mixer
Per-source levels, a mic channel with auto-fallback, and noise suppression. Kept rock steady.
Run from a browser
A full desktop panel and a touch layout for your phone. An optional HDMI confidence monitor too.
Updates itself
New builds arrive in the panel on your chosen channel and install between streams. No reflashing.

A Rock 5B+ or Orange Pi 5+ (both RK3588) running the encoder, plus the cameras or capture devices you want to mix. The mixer runs on the same box and feeds the encoder.
No. The mixer feeds the encoder a single input, so you start and stop the stream in the encoder exactly as you do now. You just pick the IRL+ Program 60fps pipeline first.
No. The encoder still uses the board's hardware H.265. The mixer just hands it the composited picture, so there's no extra re-encode.
Depends on the type. H.264 USB cameras and SRT phone feeds use the hardware decoder, so several are fine. MJPEG cameras cost more CPU, and raw or HDMI use a lot of USB bandwidth, so keep those to one or two.
Yes. Open the panel address on your phone and you get a touch layout with the preview, your sources, the layouts and the audio mixer.
The box's update check sends only the version, channel, an anonymous install id and the board model. No video, no audio, no remote access. From the Discord sign-in we keep just your display name and id, so the most we can see is which tester downloaded which version. No email, no contact details.
Free, and staying that way
IRL+ Video Mixer is free and we make nothing from it. A tip is never required or expected. If you want to chip in, it goes straight to more boards and cameras for us to test on.
IRL+ Video Mixer Remote
The mixer itself stays free. If you would rather your support came with something back, this tier on Buy Me a Coffee adds:
-
Video Mixer Remote
Reach the mixer from anywhere, not just the same network as the box. Switch sources, layouts and audio from your phone while you are out.
-
Cloud backup
Your presets, layouts and settings kept safe off the box, so a reflash or a new board starts where you left off.
-
More to come
New member features land in the same tier as they are built. No extra cost.
